Hannah Brewer, Miss Maryland 2016 is a nineteen year old student at Carroll Community College majoring in Business Administration and working fulltime as a print model for Click Models of Philadelphia, Inc.

What began as making and donating fleece blankets for soldiers to make their overnight stay more comfortable, resulted in Hannah’s Heroes a 501c3 non-profit organization she founded at the age of fifteen. Hannah’s Heroes provides emotional support and organized giving to active military members, their families and our veterans. Since 2013, Hannah’s Heroes and a small army of committed volunteers, have provided over 5,000 homemade Christmas cards, 1,000 care packages, 1,000 fleece blankets and 500 toys for military children. Volunteers make homemade cookies for the organization to send to our servicemen and women during the holidays, host special Princess Parties for military children, visit wounded troops at Walter Reed Medical Center and entertain thousands of veterans participating in honor flights. Hannah’s Heroes, the official charity of the Maryland State Police, partners with the USO, Operation Welcome Home, and Operation Home Front to help fill identified needs.
