Seeking Contestants – Miss Washington County/Miss Western Maryland

Miss Washington County/Miss Western Maryland Scholarship Pageant Set for Saturday February 24; Contestants Being Sought
(Hagerstown, MD) — The Miss Washington County/Miss Western Maryland Scholarship Program is hosting the annual 2018 pageant at Hagerstown Community College on February 24, 2018. Contestants are being sought for the longest running local pageant in the State of Maryland, and a precursor for the Miss Maryland Pageant.
Officially, part of the Miss America Organization, the Miss Washington County/Miss Western Maryland Scholarship Program will be awarding four titles:
Miss Washington County ($2,000 scholarship award)
Miss Western Maryland ($2,000 scholarship award)
Miss Washington County Outstanding Teen
Miss Western Maryland Outstanding Teen
Miss contestants must be at least a high school senior, and aged 17 through 25. Teen contestants must be ages 13-17, and not yet a high school senior.

Please note:
Miss Contestant Eligibility:
Must be between the ages of 17 and 25
Must be no older than 25 by December 31, 2018
Must be a US Citizen
Must live, work (full time), or attend school (full time) in Maryland
All Miss Contestants will receive a minimum $100 scholarship
Teen Contestant Eligibility:
Must be between the ages of 13 and 17
Cannot be a high school senior
Must be a US Citizen
Must live, work (full time), or attend school (full time) in Maryland
