Interested in hosting a Miss Maryland and/or Miss Maryland’s Teen Competitions?
Our Local Directors and their committee members are the embodiment of servant leadership. They are the strong hold of our program and far exceed the expectations of their role. They make the first step that a candidate takes in pursuit of the job of a local titleholder, Miss Maryland, and Miss America a valuable and beneficial process. They see the potential in each candidate and provide the young women the guidance to propel them to succeed in this program and in life.
The rewards of hosting a local competition are enormous. To know you have impacted the lives of the candidates in so many ways is rewarding in itself. Our Local Directors are the grassroots of our program, they are Mentors, Leaders, they Inspire and provide Guidance. They play an instrumental part in shaping the lives of our candidates as they pursue their educational dreams
You will provide an opportunity to the young ladies of your area to compete at the local competition, with the winner advancing to the Miss Maryland Competition and possibly the Miss America Competition. The winner will be committed to representing your community during her year of service.
